  1. Right then! Apologies for not having commented on the Test Issue, but I was on holiday at the time and hadn't noticed it was out.

Good to see the final version - a nice mix of material from all who contributed.

Paul, great to see a new Rubbernorc strip (and a small cameo from Iron Bru! Thanks for that).

Simon, a nice take on the 50's B-movie genre with possibly the best title for a comic strip ever.

Tony, another great range of twisted illustrations with some interesting art textures weaved in.

Dirk, I loved David Blankley's art style on the SNA strip. Very well drawn, and I enjoy a good bit of nudie carnage (who doesn't?)

Mal - your Moomin picture terrified the living crap out of me (but then moomins have always had that effect since childhood). It's nice to see you've been working on a computer game as well. You should download the free version of Construct 2 and see what you can do with that (as games can be distributed in most mediums, including PC, Online, ipad, android etc). I loved the Evil Dead imagery in Dead By Dawn, though I couldn't work out how to get through the front door (I think in the event of a zombie apocalypse, I would be the first to die). Great Godzilla/chewits ad cover reference, and a very nicely put together issue overall.

Nice work chaps, and thanks for putting it all together when you weren't feeling too well, Mal.

  2. The front door requires a key, David. I've got a couple o' vague ideas for other, more up-to-date computer games, so I'll definitely have a look at that Construct thingy. Ta for the tip.

  3. A key, you say? Dammit! And there I was searching high and low for a chainsaw that would fit the lock. WORKSHED!!!
