Temple Classic Covers 17

A really nicely thought out superhero themed cover from another great Scottish artist, who also happens to be Darren Taylor's cousin.
Come on Gordon...when are you going to do some more Blackdog pirate strips, eh? I've been waiting ages!
just reading 'mars attacks judge dredd' hmn, not bad. odd mixture of comedy and gory violence, as expected I spose, given the source material. The secret behind the black humour behind classic 2000ad is that its pretending not to be aware of the jokes. its camp. the problem with trying to be post modern and referencial with these properties is that the jokes are clearly deliberate and through that have less impact. Still, its worth a look. lovely cover art this week guys. similar to golden age comics.
